Cycling is not a cheap sport, and I am very grateful to my team, my sponsors and my parents for supporting me on this journey that I have chosen, even when I could be in university on a student loan preparing for a job with a certain future! Unfortunately there are still expenses that rack up through out the year, as I go to races here there and everywhere around the world, things such as travel, hotels, race nutrition, equipment repair costs and race entries etc.
For me to break into the six day scene it requires me to do track meetings in the UK, Europe and the US that are not completely covered, so will require me putting money in to cover the shortfall.
